Time was spent reflecting on the meaning of the cross in our lives and the expansive love of God for us.  At the base of the cross made from the branches of a large tree on the campus grounds was a pile of worn shoes to remind us that we journey with Jesus this Lent and into the Easter Season through service, works of mercy and compassionate presence.
