ASSOCIATES
Mission Statement
Associates of the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg, are rooted in the Gospel and in Franciscan values, mindful of our call to be a presence of Jesus Christ, especially to those who are powerless, who are poor, who are oppressed.
Who are Oldenburg Franciscan Associates?
Associates are women and men who want to live more fully their baptismal commitment to Christ by sharing the values, vision, prayer, mission and charism of the Sisters of St. Francis, without making a vowed commitment.
What Does it mean to Live the Franciscan Charism?
-
- Experiencing mutual support in your journey of living the Gospel of Jesus
- Sharing opportunities for prayer, values, vision and mission of the Sisters of St. Francis
- Participating in community outreach as needs arise
