Meet Jeff Weisenbach

Jeff grew up in Morris, Indiana. He grew up in a large family with seven other siblings. He currently lives in the country, where he enjoys being outdoors, with his wife Cindy of 28 years and a peekapoo dog. Cindy recently retired from teaching. They have two grown children who are also both in the field of education.

Jeff is the Maintenance Director here at Sisters of St. Francis, where he keeps the maintenance department running and makes sure the Sisters safe and enjoying their home. This includes managing security in the evenings, keeping the sidewalks clear of snow and ice, painting, and mowing. His department is also responsible for the burial of the Sisters. Jeff has been a part of the team for 9 years. Jeff says he enjoys being around his Co-workers and Sisters, and that everyone here is so pleasant.

Prior to coming here, Jeff spent over 16 years as a volunteer fire fighter, following in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps. He still feels the need to help others out, including his family. He continues to support local fire departments and police. He feels they are so important for the safety of the community. He also supports his local church, St. Maurice in Napoleon.

Jeff hopes to retire several years down the road and buy one more piece of land to add to his acreage. He hopes to do more fishing and have even more outdoor time. He would also like to travel with his family, with a goal of getting to Alaska and Germany. Staying a little closer to home, they will venture to Maine this year.

When Jeff is not at work, he enjoys helping his wife, who redoes furniture, shooting sporting clays, cutting wood, mowing grass, and walking the trails along the creek. He also enjoys Sunday jeep and UTV rides with his family.

We appreciate all that Jeff does to keep the Motherhouse in good shape and safe for all of us.
