Meet Shania Baker

Shania is a CNA for our St. Clare Hall residents. She has been with Sisters of St. Francis for almost ten years. In her role, she helps take care of the Sisters’ daily needs and does her best to keep them in good moods. She enjoys the stress-free atmosphere here and considers the Sisters to be more like family than patients.

Shania grew up in Brookville with one older brother, a younger sister, and two stepsisters. She is a mom of two daughters, ages five and seven. She enjoys going to the park with her girls and they keep her busy with their many activities.

When Shania is not spending time with her family, she enjoys being with her friends. They enjoy going to new restaurants and trying new foods. She also enjoys karaoke, baking, going on walks, reading, and hopes to get to Hawaii one day.

Shania has always worked in nursing. When she was 12, her mom had breast cancer and watching her go through that and helping her during that time was the reason she went into that field. We’re glad she did and appreciate all she does for our Sisters.
