Courage to Venture
Throughout our history we have always responded to the needs of God’s people while often receiving only a small stipend for our ministry. Today, ninety-two (92) Sisters live at the Motherhouse. Of these, 40 Sisters reside in our St. Clare Hall health facility and twenty-five percent (25%) of those at the Motherhouse are in full and part-time ministries.
Our retired Sisters serve in numerous volunteer ministries including serving in pastoral care, teaching Catechetical classes, ministering at immigrant detention centers, and other charitable outreach ministries. Together as a community dedicated to prayer, we live the Gospel message of service to others.
Our most recent financial analysis from The National Religious Retirement Office (NRRO), a ministry of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, shows that our Congregation is underfunded for retirement. The NRRO analysis considers demographics, current cost of care, and existing savings. A major aim of the Courage to Venture Campaign is to address the shortfall in our retirement fund.
THANK YOU for prayerfully considering making a financial gift to our Courage to Venture Campaign.
