CONVENT GUIDED TOURS IN 2024
Monday through Saturday 1:00-4:00 pm
Full tours last up to 60-75 minutes. Chapel tours only could take 15-20 minutes.
To schedule an inside tour of the convent, contact S. Claire Whalen at 812-933-6514 or call the switchboard at 812-934-2475. Large groups should allow up to 1.5 hours for a full indoor tour or two hours if a walk to the cemetery and Fatima Shrine is to be included.
Tour groups up to 30 persons can be accommodated. A free will donation is requested for groups under 20. There is a fee of $5.00 per person for groups between 20 and 30.
Enjoy photos below of the convent grounds in various seasons. The park-like campus holds over 300 trees. See also the slides for trees in spring and autumn. Visitors may want to schedule an outdoor pilgrimage to pray at our many grottos and shrines.
In addition to an indoor tour, visitors are welcome to take a "tree walk" between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and identify campus trees. No prior arrangements need to be made to walk the campus. Maps are located in the St. Clare Hall lobby. See below for a virtual walk to any of the five sites identified.​
